#1 | The Time is Now
The piece is constructed from more than 300 individual elements – juxtaposing richly traditional burr veneers alongside unashamedly bright, candy-like acrylic in a deliberately anthropomorphic composition. We built this piece to celebrate the idea that time is finite for us all, so when an opportunity arises to pursue your passion – grab it with both hands!
#2 | You Might Want to Sit Down
This highly abstract sculptural piece is constructed from 26 lengths of ash connected with 20 half lap, nine mortise and tenon and six cross lap joints. The ash is then ‘ebonised’ and the end grain is finished with 23.5 carat gold.
